After all the rain we have had over the past two weeks, it was great to be able to finally ride on the arena.
Here is Maggie today (her 3rd ride since off the track)
She is proving to be quite the kick-along super quiet pony. She had not been worked for a few weeks and a quick 2min lunge and Maddi was on. She is leg yeilding and bending well. Canter is still unbalanced, but it is such early days!

This foul weather has meant that she is not currently in work. She will spend a few weeks in the paddock while we travel to Sydney to compete at the Australian Championships with Kane.

She had her first outing to pony club a few weeks ago and she coped remarkably well. A little bit worked up when she first got off the float, but settled well as soon as under saddle and had her "listening ears" on.  Grin

She is a total delight to work with and hopefully will have an impressive career in the showring and dressage arena. Maddi has had a great deal of experience riding green horses and always seems to bring out the best in them, but it does help when they have wonderful attitudes like Maggie  Grin
